i painted the spare bedroom (our old bedroom) yesterday. left the 2 sand colored granite paint walls alone, and did the other 2 a vibrant turquoise color. it reminds me of the beach now, just what i was going for! can't really make it exactly the way i want til heather gets her furniture out *hint hint* but it's getting there ( Read more... )

it took my mom and i 6 1/2 hours to take down all the stupid wallpaper in the kitchen, not even counting the time it took me to move everything out of the way. that's ridiculous! my kitchen isn't even that big, but when we went to rip it down, the top layer came off and still left that layer of backing and glue stuck to the wall, so we had to wet ( Read more... )
